“I cannot install myself anywhere yet; I must climb dizzier heights. But I still love the relative, not the absolute: the cabbage and the warmth of a fire, Bach on the phonograph and laughter and talk in the cafes and a trunk packed for departure…” - Anais Nin

I had the privilege to spend some time in Scotch Village, NS with my friend Katherine Marsters this past fall and help her with her bee keeping. It was an incredible experience. When working with you bees you have to be calm and move slowly and intuitively, mindfully, with care and respect. Bees may be my spirit insects. Here is a logo design I did for her. If you see her selling, scoop some honey up, it rules.
Also, came across this beautiful little film on a urban bee keeper in Hong Kong.
Also, I read The Sharmanic Way of the Bee this past winter. I recommend it.
